Japan Ends Mask Mandate on March 13
Japan Ends Mask Mandate on March 13
Finally, it’s over! Japanese government will lift mask mandate on March 13. It’s all up to individual’s judgement. But they also “recommend” to wear a mask in the following situations:

- At hospitals, clinics, senior care homes
- On trains, buses at rush hours (except Shinkansen and high-way bus with reserved seats)
- Crowded area for those who have high risk of getting severe symptoms
- Those who were tested positive for Covid-19
- Pregnant women
They are asking people to respect individual’s judgement, not to force others to wear a mask.
