The World Cup Of Rugby takes place every 4 years. Well, it’s that time again and The Rugby World Cup will be played and hosted in Japan 2019.

The tournament consists of 4 Pools, A, B, C, and D. Each Pool has 5 teams comprising a 20 team tournament. Each team is seeded prior to tournament by world rankings. Any remaining positions in each pool are filled by the qualifiers. Tournament play begins and goes through several stages. The knockout stage consists of quarter, semi-finals, and then the final. Matches start Friday September 20, 2019 and the finals Saturday November 2, 2019

Japan is well represented. Though it’s team is comprised of several naturalized citizens. Nonetheless, it is a very competitive team. Especially having a whole country’s support being the host country.
