Summer Sweet Potato Expo 2023 Starts on August 17

The Sweet Potato Expo Executive Committee runs Sweet Potato Expo 2023 from August 17 through 20 in Shinjuku.

We went to a media preview and check out the tenants.

The event was held for the first time in Saitama last year. And many people visited as an event to create a new culture of sweet potatoes.

This year, they have a new venue in Shinjuku with more shops and items. The menu you can buy and eat is here (PDF).

If you love sweet potatoes, this is the event for you! Japanese eat them because they are tasty and nutritious with high Vitamin-C content.
