Experience the Magic! Harry Potter Shop Harajuku Grand Opening! Get ready, Muggles and wizards! The highly anticipated Harry Potter Shop Harajuku is set to open its doors on August 14, 2025! This will be Japan’s very first flagship store, and it promises an immersive experience like no other.
Spanning approximately 900 square meters across two floors, the shop’s design concept is inspired by the “Forbidden Forest.” From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel as though you’ve wandered deep into a mystical woodland. As you venture further, you might even encounter Buckbeak the Hippogriff, the majestic magical creature from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!

No trip to a Harry Potter shop would be complete without some fantastic merchandise, and the Harajuku location won’t disappoint. Just like Harry and his friends, you can easily enjoy this beloved magical drink. For those unfamiliar, Butterbeer is a sweet, non-alcoholic, carbonated beverage with a delicious butterscotch-like flavor and a hint of butter. Don’t forget to try and recreate Hermione’s iconic “Butterbeer mustache” right there in Harajuku!
