The outdoor resort “Sagamiko (Lake Sagami) Resort Pleasure Forest” in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, has started the largest holiday lightup event “Sagamiko Ilmilion” in the Kanto region on November 14 and will continue through April 4, 2021.

It has continued to evolve year by year using the latest technology, and in 2018 it was certified as one of the “3 major lightups in the Kanto region” selected by about 5,500 night viewers nationwide.

The new area “Pokemon Illuminations” that creates the world of the popular game series “Pokemon”, “Pikachu’s shiny lighting show“, and “Pikachu’s” Illumi-genic Photo Session” are the major attractions of the event.

Enjoy the world where many wild Pokemon live in a variety of mountaintop areas such as forests, grasslands, and ponds of “Sagamiko Resort”, and it shines with colorful lightings.

Eevee Friends Rainbow Lift

This year, “Rainbow Lift” will be reborn in the colors of Eevee and its evolutionary Pokemon (9 colors). Enjoy a fantastic aerial walk under the rainbow of light while listening to the music played in the game software “Pokemon” series.

Pokemon Gondola

The gondola wrapping of the Ferris wheel towering at an altitude of 420m is decorated with the design of 36 Pokemon.

Hours: 6PM on weekdays, 7PM on Saturday, Sunday, and holiday (November ~ February), 7:30PM (March), and 7:45PM (April)
*Saturday, Sunday, and holiday hours are applied to weekdays during the winter and spring breaks.
Location: Special stage in the “Pikachu Light Forest” area
How to participate: Drawing each day at 4:30 opening at Drawing Pleasure. Winner will be posted at the pleasure station store at 7PM, also announced on Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest Official Twitter (@sagamikoresort)

“Sagamiko Ilmilion”
Dates: November 14, 2020 ~ April 4, 2021. Closed on Wednesday and Thursday between January 6 through March 11 (open on February 11) Hours: 4PM~9PM (Door closes at 8:30PM). Lightup starts at 5PM through January, it varies in February and after. Those who enter Pleasure Forest daytime can view Ilmilion.

Car / [From Tokyo, Saitama] About 7 minutes drive from the Sagamiko East Exit of the Chuo Expressway
[From Yokohama] About 15 minutes drive from the Sagamihara IC on the Ken-O Expressway, about 20 minutes druve from the Takaosan IC on the Ken-O Expressway
Train / Get off at JR Chuo Main Line Sagamiko Station, then take Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus bound for Mikage for about 8 minutes and get off at Pleasure Forest Mae stop.
Get off at JR Yokohama Line Hashimoto Station, then Transfer to Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu Bus bound for Sagamiko Station. Get off at Pleasure Forest.
