Nijo Castle Cherry Blossom Festival Features Sakura Light up
Naked Co., Ltd. will hold a light-up show at “Nijo Castle x Naked Nijo Castle Cherry Blossom Festival 2021” at Nijo Castle, a World Heritage Site in Kyoto from March 19 through April 11, 2021 and will feature a flower experience art exhibition “NAKED FLOWERS 2021-Sakura-World Heritage Nijo Castle”.
Furthermore, as a representative work of this exhibition, Ryotaro Muramatsu / NAKED’s art work “Breath / Bless Project”, which was announced at the same time in Tokyo and Singapore last year, will be exhibited in collaboration with a flower arrangement artist, Mr. Yuki Ikenobo for the first time in Kyoto.
Participatory art that connects the prayers of the end of the Covid-19 with flowers that symbolize peace all over the world
“Breath / Bless Project” is a world-class project-type art that starts with the dandelion object “Dandelion” and connects prayers for peace through a network.
Originally, “Dandelion” is an art work in which fluff dances when you blow on the fluff, but as a countermeasure against COVID-19, the design is now changed to an experience where the fluff dances by the experiencer holding his smartphone over. .. The flowers born in Nijo Castle will bloom at the exhibition place at the Tokyo Tower, which takes place at the same time, through the network, and the prayer for peace will become an art and connect Tokyo and Kyoto.
