The first “Pikachu Tokyo Banana” will appear at Seven-Eleven Japan
Great news for both Pokemon and Tokyo Banana fans! Tokyo souvenir brand “Tokyo Banana World” will launch a new Tokyo Banana series “Pokemon Tokyo Banana” for limited quantities at Seven-Eleven stores throughout Japan on November 21.
Furthermore, the regular sales location “Pokemon Tokyo Banana Tokyo Station” will open in the HANAGATAYA Tokyo South Passage at JR Tokyo Station on December 10.
The first version of “Pokemon Tokyo Banana” is Pikachu! The fluffy sponge cake baked with a lovely Pikachu pattern is filled with “Nana no Mifu Toro-ri Banana Custard Cream”, which is the image of “Nana nomi”. It’s also good in frozen.
There are 6 types of Pikachu patterns on the sponge cake. “Gokigen Pikachu” “Summer Pikachu” “Good night Pikachu” “Wink Pikachu” “Hello Pikachu” and “Pikachu tail”.
What make is special is the “Pikachu tail”, which is marked by the tail pattern of the heart. The back of a female Pikachu with a heart-shaped tail appears only once in a while.
“Pikachu Tokyo Banana” is packed in a bag designed with the image of a monster ball.
The package design comes in 6 patterns. Every expression is cute and you may want to collect all kinds.

“Pikachu Tokyo Banana” will be released in advance at Seven-Eleven. It will be available for limited quantities and will appear in various regions of Japan (Not available in Okinawa).
