You can experience camping in the city without worrying about corona
The outdoor brand “REWILD”, which owns an “outdoor space for women” in Otaki-cho, Chiba Prefecture and a “festival campground full of music and Happy” that holds a music festival every week in Katsuura City, will open “REWILD OUTDOOR TOKYO“, a space where you can experience camping in Kayabacho the business district on June 1, 2020.
Concept: “outdoor cafe in the urban forest”
The facility has three features that you can experience a full-scale camping experience in Kayabacho.
They provide the splendor of the outdoors through camping communication to the people in the city who are stressed out by staying at home request.
1. Free of Coronavirus concern in open environment
The wide entrance gives plenty of ventilation and a sense of openness.
They also introduced a self-order system to avoid the risk of corona infection. When you read the QR code on the desk with your smart phone, a menu will appear. There is no risk of infection when ordering / serving customers, touch panel operations, and cashless payment.
Camp experience menu is available 5PM~10PM.
2. Authentic camping experience
Camping starts at 5PM with lighting the Lumiere lantern.
You can brew coffee with carefully selected specialty beans yourself, bake focaccia or marshmallow on skewers in the in-store bakehouse, try making hot sand using the burner fire, experience smoking in the store, etc. They offer a super-experience menu as if you were camping in the forest.
3. Forest-like interior
A healing space where you can hear the chirping of birds and the murmuring of the river with sunlight through the interior of the forest, made up of trees, mud walls, and grass. Hammocks are also available so you can relax as if you were in the forest.
