Tourism Expo Japan Will Come Back To Tokyo In January 2021
This year’s Tourism Expo Japan is being held in Okinawa right now and tomorrow is the last day.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided not to go this year and also the event is in Okinawa. It’s a bit far from our office.
So if you want to go to the Japan tourism expo, we recommend to try the next one, which is in Tokyo starting on January 7, 2021.

Osaka Tourism Expo in 2019
Actually we went to the Osaka Tourism Expo in 2019. Since we are based in Tokyo, we stayed for 3 days in Dotonbori area, Osaka.
We were very surprised there were many Chinese tourists in Osaka back then. It’s like Ginza, Tokyo. It almost made me think Chinese might take over Japan.
Anyway, the expo is huge! So many areas, regions and booths to see. You need to well plan ahead. One day may not be enough to cover the whole area.
So basically inbound and outbound tourism. So there are Japan sections and overseas sections. We checked out both but mainly focused on Japan side as our target is Japan tourism for foreigners.
At the expo, you can learn Japanese history, culture and talk to people. Just enjoy all day there.
Admission is Free. But don’t forget to pre-register to save time.
