Mitsubishi Simon Group’s outlet brand “Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets” in Fukaya City, Saitama, is scheduled to open on October 20. This will be the 10th premium outlet in a decade since Shisui Premium Outlets in Chiba opened in 2013.
Community coexistence is the key
Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets not only offers an exciting and memorable shopping experience but also brings together the charm of Fukaya City, which is rich in nature, and the northwestern part of Saitama Prefecture. The mall is based on the concept of “coexistence of community” and “a place where customers with various needs can enjoy their time in their own way”.
133 tenants including high-end boutiques gather in the mall. 40 restaurants and food concessions includes locally-owned businesses as well.

1. High-end boutiques
So what kind of high-end brands will be featured in this mall? – “Bally”, “Dsquared2”, “Marc Jacobs”, “.st”, “Valentino” and “Versace”. Also music instruments shop Korg and Golf gear shop Pin will be their first time to join Japan’s premium outlet mall!
2. Restaurants and food concessions

Cafe Iguana Mexican Grill
This Mexican food restaurant offers a variety of grilled dishes such as the signature menu “Fajita” as well as tacos and guacamole.
Nagatoro and Galle (Miso Potato and Local Sake)
They offer “Superb Soybean Flour Soft Cream Made with Craft Soybean Flour”. The soybean flour is roasted from the legendary soybeans of Chichibu, “Debtless soybeans”.
Moi Saimata maruhiro
Maruhiro department store curates locally made food. They feature bread from a popular local bakery made fresh every day, and original pickles made in the shape of “Fukka-chan” using local vegetables.
3. Art walk and attraction area
Are you tired from shopping around? This is the place for a short break. Enjoy sculptures owned by the Chokoku-no-Mori Art Foundation and wall art drawn by artists especially for this facility.
“Gari-Gari-kun”‘s first Japan attraction area. It’s a frozen dessert manufactured and sold by Akagi Nyugyo Co., Ltd in Fukaya. This is a perfect place for family to take a break between shoppings.
4. Pet-friendly environment, cafe
The common area is fully equipped with a pet rest area with permanent foot washing sections and leash hooks. “Pet Paradise x Ueshima Coffee Shop” sells pet fashion and good and has a cafe space for you and your dog.
5. Coexist with community
Fukaya Hanazano Premium Outlets are designed so customers can enjoy shopping while walking through the center court and 2 major fields: Brick field and Forest field.
6. Using renewable energy
Approximately 8,000 MWh (estimated annual consumption) of electricity for the entire facility in common areas and retail space is regenerated by approximately 440 solar panels (estimated annual power generation of approximately 150 MWh) installed on the premises and green power certificates to contribute to CO2 reduction.
To be honest with you, we expected more high-end luxury brands like Prada, Gucci, YVL coming to Fukaya like Gotemba mall but so far, only a few of those brands. We will see.
And we passed by the mall last month and saw a lot of solar panels. This is a big land here and suitable for renewal energy usage.
